Fall in love with pumpkins & apples
It's that time of the year, pumpkin spice & everything nice (Halloween is my favorite). Did you know that pumpkin is actually great for your skin too?
Pumpkin contains fruit enzymes and alpha-hydroxy acids that exfoliate your skin and boost cell turn over. It is also high in antioxidants like Vitamins A & C that help brighten and smooth your skin. I'm currently offering two types of pumpkin enzyme treatment based on your skin's sensitivity.
For sensitive or compromised skin, we will use Sorella Apothecary's Papaya and Pumpkin Mask which will nourish and strengthen your skin's barrier function leaving your complexion smooth and bright. This mask also includes Papaya Enzymes that heal and restore damaged cells and Honey that has a natural anti-bacterial effect and is very hydrating.
If you're looking for a little extra spice in your pumpkin treatment...we'll use Skin Script's Pumpkin-Orange Enzymes which has a bit of a tingle. Sugar Cane and 11% L-Lactic Acid are alpha-hydroxy acids that help to slough off dead skin cells, improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and the skin's texture.
Let's say that pumpkin spice just isn't your thing...I've got something for you too. Skin Script's Apple Enzyme improves the skin with Vitamin C to brighten, Malic Acid to exfoliate the top layer of skin, and Apple Extract to prevent and repair oxidation.
To further enhance your Fall facial the Autumn Spice Hydrating Mask has nutmeg which is both anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory.
